İldeki önemli turistik yerlerden biride Pazar ilçesi yakınlarındaki Ballıca mağarasıdır. 680 metre uzunluğunda, +19 -75 metre ve olmak üzere toplam 94 metre yüksekliğindedir. Mağara yarı yatay, yarı dikey olarak birbirine bağlı beş kat ve sekiz büyük salondan oluşmakla birlikte bazı bölümlerinde oluşumlar hala devam etmektedir.Yaz kış ortalama 18 derece sıcaklığın hüküm sürdüğü Ballıca Mağarasının en önemli karakteristik özelliği, Türkiye'de hiçbir mağarada bulunmayan soğan sarkıtlarından meydana gelmesidir. Mağaranın değişik yerlerinde koloniler halinde yaşayan "cüce yarasalar" en belirgin canlı grubunu oluşturur. Mağara içindeki sarkıt ve dikitlerin güzelliği ise ayrı bir turistik değer oluşturmaktadır.
